Enjoy very much the feeding session with the kids....and the countryside environment. Highly recommended for family travelling with children. We had a South view unit where the dinnig table is facing the farm....was such a great time preparing and having breakfast with an excellent view. The first night of our stay was a clear sky at night and it was full of stars, we even saw shooting stars. A short 10 mins drive reach Prevelly beach for sunset at Indian Ocean, excellent!!

I liked that the children could be outside in an adventurous but safe environment. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It is close to wineries and other attractions. Close to the sea. Relaxing atmosphere. Playful dogs.

Sunflowers is an excellent place to stay in the Margaret River area if you are traveling with children or if you like nature, we certainly intend to return. The accommodation is good for farm stay with full kitchen facilities, shared laundry facilities, BBQ, TV, cable, free DVD's, air con / heating. We found it very comfortable and homely. The best aspect is the farm environment and the animals. Our kids obsolutely loved (as did my wife and I) spending time feeding the animals inc. normal farm animals as well as Kangaroos, Llamas, Emu, Ostrich, a lovely Clydesdale horse, Alpacos, and a host of different wild birds including parrots, Ibis. We also enjoyed the two resident Sheep Dogs Lilli & Chilli who liked to come visit our unit in the evening. We also enjoyed the tractor rides in the fields amongst the cows and wild Kangeroos, toasting marsh mellows over the fire was also a treat. The owners Debbie and Steve were good hosts and basically gave us freedom to roam around the farm as we liked. Sun Flowers is located on Caves Road and is only about 7KM from Margaret River, and within easy reach of the best vineyards,, wineries, as well as the caves. We are recommending this place to our friends.

We really did not dislike anything. Sunflowers is a farm stay so do not expect a high class resort or spa. There is no wifi or internet connection or in unit phones so leave your work or Facebook behind during your stay and relax.
